Gedeon was born in 1998 in San Antonio when Jorge Torres and Claudio Carvajal had the idea of creating a band. The two with the guitar skills gotten down to the task of finding the complement to realize this ideal. That was how, after some time, gave Raul Poblete, who assumed the responsibility of playing bass and Miguel Ceron, who despite his young age showed great talent as a drummer. In this way achieves the first formation of Gedeon. But time will bring some surprises. After a time, Raul Claudio then leave the band. Carlos Rivera takes the place of Torres Poblete and only takes as a guitarist and vocalist of the band. From that point the band started to build consensus, knowledge, styles and feelings in the creation of themes. In 2003 achieved record their first demo Freedom. Live presentations and gradually increase the band started to become known in the local consolidated as one of the bands most powerful in the area. Again the band is faced with a dilemma, but rather to recruit a new member, they decide together to give more prominence to the bass and guitar filling the space needed to replace any shortcoming. Understanding musical progress achieved, and accepting the greater commitment of Torres on the guitar is that they see the need to find a vocalist.
